Trading Signals & AI

Nydar's signals use XGBoost gradient-boosted models trained on historical OHLCV data. The pipeline extracts 100+ features (momentum, volatility, trend, volume) and selects the top 15 by predictive importance using walk-forward validation across 13,500+ model fits. A meta-labeling confidence filter, as described by Marcos Lopez de Prado in Advances in Financial Machine Learning, reduces false signals by approximately 30%. Each signal includes a confidence score from 0-100%.How our AI works →
Nydar's XGBoost signals achieve 53-56% directional accuracy in walk-forward backtests across 10 cryptocurrencies and 4-hour timeframes, validated across 13,500+ model fits. Each model trains on 2,000 candles and tests on the next 500 (unseen data). Signals include confidence scores so traders can filter by reliability. As with any statistical model, signals should be one input in a broader trading decision — not the sole basis for trades.AI Signals feature →
Nydar's Daily Picks scans the entire market each day and ranks trading opportunities by signal strength, risk/reward ratio, and user-defined risk tolerance. The ranking algorithm combines the ML confidence score with technical confluence (how many of the 105 indicators agree) to surface the highest-probability setups without manually analyzing hundreds of assets.Daily Picks guide →
Yes. Nydar's Backtester widget lets you test signal-based strategies against historical OHLCV data going back several years. Configure entry/exit rules, stop losses, position sizing, and timeframes, then review equity curves, drawdown analysis, win rate, Sharpe ratio, and trade-by-trade logs. The backtester uses the same walk-forward methodology as Nydar's live signals.Backtester guide →

Yes. Nydar allows you to reset your virtual portfolio from the settings page at any time. This clears all open positions and trade history and restores the balance to $100,000. Resetting is useful when changing strategy or starting a fresh performance track record.

Order Flow & Market Depth

Nydar's order flow suite provides footprint charts (volume at each price level), volume delta (cumulative buy vs sell pressure), and absorption detection — tools that reveal institutional activity invisible on standard candlestick charts. As Larry Harris describes in Trading and Exchanges: Market Microstructure for Practitioners, order flow analysis identifies where large participants are accumulating or distributing positions.Level 2 & order flow →
Nydar's Level 2 widget displays up to 5,000 price levels of bid/ask depth with real-time WebSocket updates. It includes automatic wall detection (orders 5-10x surrounding depth), spoofing alerts, bid/ask imbalance calculation, time & sales tape with aggressor tagging, and depth chart visualisation. Level 2 data is available for crypto, stocks, and forex.Level 2 guide →
Yes. Nydar's liquidation heatmap displays estimated liquidation clusters across 5,000 price levels, showing where leveraged positions are likely to be forcibly closed. In crypto markets, cascading liquidations can move price 5-15% in minutes. The heatmap gives traders advance visibility into probable squeeze zones before they trigger.Liquidation map guide →

Risk Management

Nydar provides portfolio risk analytics including Value at Risk (VaR) calculated using 3 methods (parametric, historical simulation, and Monte Carlo with 10,000 simulation paths) at 95% and 99% confidence levels. Additional metrics include Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, Calmar ratio, maximum drawdown, beta, alpha, and pairwise correlation analysis for concentration risk.Risk analytics feature →
Value at Risk (VaR) estimates the maximum potential loss of a portfolio over a specific time period at a given confidence level. For example, a 1-day 95% VaR of $1,000 means there is a 95% probability that the portfolio will not lose more than $1,000 in a single day. Nydar calculates VaR using parametric, historical simulation, and Monte Carlo (10,000 paths) methods — the same 3 approaches used by institutional risk desks, as outlined in Philippe Jorion's Value at Risk: The New Benchmark for Managing Financial Risk.Risk analytics guide →
Nydar's stress testing simulates how a portfolio would perform during historical market crashes: the 2008 financial crisis (-56.8%), the March 2020 COVID crash (-33.9%), and the May 2021 crypto crash (-53.4%). Each scenario replays real drawdown curves against your current holdings to quantify tail risk exposure before it materialises.Stress testing guide →

Alerts & Notifications

Nydar's Alert Builder creates multi-condition alerts using AND/OR logic. Combine price levels, indicator thresholds (any of 105 indicators), volume spikes, and signal triggers into a single alert rule. Nydar supports multiple concurrent alerts, each with several combined conditions (e.g., RSI below 30 AND price above 200 SMA AND volume above 2x average). There is no hard limit on the number of active alerts. Each alert can target any of the 200+ crypto pairs, US stocks, or 50+ forex pairs.
